We continue North from Nanaimo, passing through Johnstone Strait and crossing Queen Charlotte Sound. We anchored for the night in remote anchorages - sometimes being the only boat and occasionally sharing the bay with a few other boats. Quite by chance we encountered my old Grand Banks, Lions Den, built in 1981 and looking very spick and span in the hands of her new owner who had taken her several thousand miles over the past couple of years. We met up with them for dinner in Prince Rupert. A sharp lookout needs to be kept for logs which are a constant hazard in these waters.
